Speaker Biography

Christine Arakelian, CEO, Global Healthcare Integrators

Christine Arakelian is the founder and CEO of Global Healthcare Integrators, and has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, both in domestic and international markets.   She led global strategy and corporate development for two Fortune 500 healthcare companies:  Omnicare, a leading national pharmacy and distributor which is now part of CVS Health, and Henry Schein, a global healthcare distributor with operations in over 50 countries.    She formed GHI in 2013.  Her company has advised and/or implemented solutions touching on population health data, population health management, technology, national healthcare data architectures, reimbursement, distribution, pharmacy, meaningful patient access and healthcare services in China, Southeast Asia, Africa, Brazil, the former Soviet republics and the Middle East.  Prior to Omnicare and Henry Schein, she had a series of progressing roles in biotech and pharmaceuticals.  She has a BA in Intellectual History from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a University Scholar and graduated with honors, and a JD from the University of Virginia Law School.  She has published in Drug Discovery Today, and was recently named a Fellow in Public Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.  She is laser-focused on advancing results, culture and mission both for GHI and her clients.
